Bernie Marcus, Home Depot co-founder and billionaire philanthropist passed away Monday at his home in Florida. His fingerprints are all across Atlanta, the city he called home for most of his life, between the Georgia Aquarium, Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta and the Marcus Autism Center. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
