Election season finally came to an official end Tuesday with the completion of 18 runoffs in 13 Georgia counties. The most prominent of those races was for an Atlanta City Council seat, where Eshé Collins defeated Nicole Evans Jones for an at-large seat. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
