President Joe Biden this week, in one of his last official acts before leaving office, commuted the death sentences of 37 federal inmates on death row, including two in Georgia.  Anthony George Battle murdered a prison guard in 1994 with a hammer (after already being found guilty of murdering his wife) while Meier Jason Brown stabbed a female postal worker to death during a robbery.  “I don’t think it’s justice, but there is nothing I can do about it,” said Frederick Neil Washington, the father of the guard Battle killed.  SINKING…
