Back in 2022 Atlanta voters approved three ballot measures that comprised the ambitious “Move Atlanta Forward” infrastructure plan. Three years later and a report from the city’s auditor finds that the city has only spent $47 million, or 7% of the total funds approved by voters. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
