GOP group excluded from Smyrna Pride Festival

The Georgia Republican Party is firing back at a gay pride festival after it barred a right-leaning group from participating.  The Georgia Log Cabin Republicans, a conservative LGBTQ group, wanted to participate in the Smyrna Pride Festival as a vendor.  But their application was rejected, even though the festival allows left-leaning groups like Georgia Equity PAC.  State GOP officials called out the festival in a letter, while festival officials said they had decided not to allow any organizations “deemed to be solely politically driven.”  The exclusivity in what should be an inclusive event has Smyrna Pride SINKING…
