A new report from Education Week on teacher morale shows Georgia with the highest rate in the nation, at +47 compared to the national average of +18. The scale is a a “year-over-year, multifaceted gauge of how teachers feel about the profession,” and State School Superintendent Richard Woods called the state’s high score “not an indicator that our work is done, but a reaffirmation of the importance of this direction in the months and years ahead.” Hopefully the report is a sign that Georgia teacher morale is RISING…
Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
