Georgia Democratic Sens. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock learned the importance of the U.S. Senate’s threshold in limiting debate on a Continuing Resolution that keeps the government open for another six months. The two were shocked, along with left-wing colleagues, when Minority Leader Chuck Shumer and nine other Democrats voted with Republicans to advance the CR with a 62-38 vote. Note that Ossoff and Warnock previously voted to end the filibuster, calling it “racist,” yet last week they tried to stop the CR by voting to filibuster! Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
