The November 18th special election to replace former state Sen. Jason Esteves – now running for governor – has an early frontrunner. Former state Rep. Roger Bruce, a longtime lawmaker who left the House last year after 22 years under the Gold Dome – unveiled the endorsement of former Gov. Roy Barnes along with other Democrat officials at a campaign kickoff event Tuesday. Could Paramount be coming to Georgia?
Paramount Skydance, one of the biggest and most prominent entertainment companies in the world, is furious at its home state of California over a lawsuit filed by the state’s attorney general attempting to stop a merger. In response, Chair David Ellison has threatened to move from Los Angeles to a state not actively suing his company, and Georgia was on the shortlist of possibilities. Gov.
