Early voting in the May 19 Primary Election began Monday, and one race drawing attention is the race to fill the 11th Congressional District seat left open by the retirement of U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk. Many believe an early decision by U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach not to seek the seat left the door open, and one of those who jumped in the race is Rob Adkerson, former chief of staff for Loudermilk.
