AUTM, the Association of University Technology Managers, is the country’s leading organization dedicated to supporting academic research and driving innovation towards commercial viability. With more than 3,000 members across more than 800 universities, research centers, hospitals, businesses and government organizations, AUTM tracks a range of factors that relate to university innovation, among them the number of commercial products brought to market by universities and their researchers.

For the fourth year in a row, the University of Georgia has ranked number one in the country in that category, with 58 new products from UGA research launched last year. UGA has ranked either first or second for 11 years in a row and was in the top five in the two years before that when AUTM started tracking the number.
