McCormick Wants H-1B Visa fraud investigation in his district

U.S. Rep. Rich McCormick, R-GA, is calling on the Trump administration to investigate alleged fraud and abuse of the H-1B work visa program in his own district – warning that the 7th Congressional District is a "suspected hotspot of this fraud.” In his letter to Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling, and Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin. McCormick offered himself as "an interlocutor to help enable cooperation with state-level agencies and law enforcement."

McCormick said he sent the letter following reports from constituents, stakeholder engagement, and recent federal investigation and enforcement activity targeting entities in and around the district in North Metro Atlanta.
