Ossoff votes show he follows the socialist path

There is a civil war raging nationally and within the Georgia Democratic Party between the traditional “establishment” liberals and upstart socialists/communists who sympathize or are members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). Incumbent Democrat U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff is in the middle of it and, as Republicans and some political pundits note, he has been voting with the democratic socialists more and more since his narrow 2021 election.

Lawmakers demand review of Dublin City Schools accredidation

State lawmakers want answers regarding the issues surrounding the Dublin City School System’s accreditation status. Appropriations Chairman Matt Hatchett, R-Dublin, and Senate President Pro Tem Larry Walker, R-Perry, recently sent a joint letter to the Georgia State Board of Education requesting prompt action and urging a timely state review.

McCormick reintroduces ‘STOP the SWAMP Act’ amid Fauci inquiry

U.S. Rep. Rich McCormick, R-GA, says he reintroduced legislation aimed at strengthening congressional oversight after Dr. Anthony Fauci refused to answer more than 100 questions before Congress. McCormick first introduced the STOP the SWAMP Act during the 118th Congress which convened January 3, 2023, and ended on January 3, 2025, during the final two years of Joe Biden’s presidency.

Georgia Ports Authority closes out strong fiscal year

The Georgia Ports Authority recently closed out a strong fiscal year. The Port of Savannah ended fiscal year 2026 with June volumes 18 percent over the same month last year, and the Appalachian Regional Port in Northwest Georgia handled a record 49,319 intermodal containers in FY2026, for an increase of 20 percent or more than 8100 boxes compared to FY2025.

Special legislative sessions are supposed to resolve urgent problems. Georgia’s latest special session instead postponed one deadline, created new statutory conflicts, and left county election officials, the State Election Board, and perhaps the courts to resolve questions the General Assembly should have definitively answered regarding the continued use of QR codes as official votes.

WNBA embroiled in trans-athlete drama

Last Sunday a mother and daughter attended the Atlanta Dream/Indiana Fever basketball game at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. With two minutes left in overtime the pair were ordered to cover their XX-XY chromosome shirts— and the censorship incident went viral. It’s obvious that left-wing, pro-trans leaders of the Women’s National Basketball Association are intent on suppressing the message that men and women are different and that biological men cannot become women. However, widespread public support exists for these statements of fact, and by trying to censor them the WNBA is actually causing these viral moments. And that seems to be bringing more people to the side of sanity. RISING…
