Brian Kemp – alongside First Lady Marty Kemp, members of the General Assembly, public safety leaders, and law enforcement professionals from across the state – signed multiple bills into law that he says will strengthen public safety and support law enforcement in Georgia.

Some $600,000 in funding will be going to 62 groups across 48 counties thanks to the 2026 Vibrant Communities and Cultural Facilities grant awards from the Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA), part of the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) team. The funding is mainly going to rural counties, where fundraising might be a little more difficult to come by.
