City Purchases Underground Atlanta
The city of Atlanta confirmed Monday that it has purchased the remainder of the lease of Underground Atlanta from previous leaseholder Dan O’Leary. A ‘steal’ at $8.8 million, Underground Atlanta has struggled mightily in recent years as a tourist attraction, and the city plans to market the area to developers.
