The Board of Regents has announced University System of Georgia tuition for the upcoming 2015-2016 school year, and for several institutions it translates into larger increases than last year. While in 2014 27 institutions saw their tuition increase just 2.5%, this year only 20 colleges and universities face the minimum 2.5 percent increase.
The University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Atlanta Metropolitan State College, and Middle Georgia State University will see a 9 percent in-state increase. Georgia Gwinnett College will increase 8.3 percent: Georgia Regents University in Augusta and Georgia State University in Atlanta face hikes of 5.5 percent; University of North Georgia is up 5 percent; and Kennesaw State University goes up 4.4 percent.
