History was made in Cobb County Monday as Joyette Holmes was sworn into office by Brian Kemp, making her Cobb County’s first black district attorney.  Holmes, formerly Cobb’s chief magistrate judge, succeeds Vic Reynolds, who is now the director of the GBI.  She said that he plans on running for re-election in 2020, when Reynolds’ term is up.  Enjoying support from both sides of the aisle, her odds of winning that race and her own four year term are RISING…
