New concessions contracts at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, some not rebid since 2017, are delayed again because Atlanta’s procurement/contracting system has been rigged and non-transparent. And all this while a federal corruption probe of both airport contracts and city hall practices continue — and with little reform occurring. A union also says the “decision to extend contracts issued by a prior (mayoral) administration risks the perception that it is ‘business as usual’ at the airport.”  Indeed, the city’s broken airport contracting process has Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms SINKING…
