Republican Bill Yearta on Tuesday night won the runoff election for the Albany-based HD 152, which was vacated in September by former Rep. Ed Rynders, who stepped down citing health concerns. Yearta, the former mayor of Sylvester, defeated Jim Quinn by just 115 votes after the pair emerged from a four-candidate special election in November.
