The University System of Georgia Board of Regents approved the establishment of the John H. “Johnny” Isakson Chair for Parkinson’s Research at the University of Georgia.  The university has already raised $1.6 million to establish the chair, which will fund research and help develop treatments for Parkinson’s Disease, which Isakson was diagnosed with in 2015 and which caused him to retire from the U.S. Senate last year.  A tremendous way to honor UGA alumnus Isakson – the move has his, and UGA’s ships RISING…
