Since coming into office in 2018, Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan has been been insistent on his desire to make Georgia the “tech capital of the East coast.” The Georgia Tech grad this week announced the launch of the Partnership for Inclusive Innovation, a public-private partnership created to lead coordinated, statewide efforts to position Georgia as the Technology Capital of the East Coast.
Under the leadership of board chair Dr. G.P. “Bud” Peterson, president Georgia Tech, and Debra Lam, the executive director of the Partnership for Inclusive Innovation, the organization will implement recommendations outlined by the Georgia Innovates Taskforce, which supports foundational, transformational and sustaining work and development not just in Atlanta – but throughout the state.
