The Georgia Chamber this week announced the grand opening of its third state office in Brunswick, in partnership with the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce. The office will help serve the Golden Isles and all of Georgia’s coast, which has boomed in recent years, buoyed in large part by its ports. Georgia approves three-year bachelor’s degree
Georgia is joining a handful of other states in trying out a new three-year bachelor’s degree program meant to get students into the job market faster. The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has approved the Bachelor of Applied Science, which cuts down on electives and only requires 90 credit hours instead of the traditional 120.
