The effects of the recent suspension of Georgia’s fuel tax are starting to be felt around the state, with average prices falling some 30 cents.  However a similar piece of legislation pitched in Washington by U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock and other Democrats has stalled, with some other senators going so far as to call it a “political stunt.”  Warnock’s proposal would suspend the federal gas tax and could drop prices by an additional 18.4 cents a gallon.  But it has faced resistance from politicians on both sides of the aisle and its fate seems to be SINKING…
