The Judicial Qualifications Commission, the state’s judicial watchdog agency, has asked the Georgia Supreme Court to suspend Douglas County Probate Judge Christina Peterson, who is facing 50 separate ethics violations.  Those include allowing staff to backdate official documents and requesting money via Cash App over social media from her followers for her birthday, among others.  The JQC stated in their report that Peterson’s “continued service on the bench poses an immediate and substantial threat of serious harm to the public and to the administration of justice.”  Now awaiting a hearing regarding the allegations, Peterson’s ship is SINKING…
