Observers were already skeptical when plans for The Roman, an $800M mixed-use megadevelopment in Clayton County was announced. Now county officials are outright upset after learning about the $559K in taxpayer funds that were spent just on design plans for a business incubator within the development, which is still very much in the nascent planning stages and hasn’t even received approval. Georgia approves three-year bachelor’s degree
Georgia is joining a handful of other states in trying out a new three-year bachelor’s degree program meant to get students into the job market faster. The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has approved the Bachelor of Applied Science, which cuts down on electives and only requires 90 credit hours instead of the traditional 120.
