After a little-known state law prevented Georgia counties from holding Saturday early-voting the weekend before the start of official early voting, elections officials in Chatham County in south Georgia say they will open the polls that Sunday instead.  Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock and other left-leaning groups are suing the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office over the Saturday ban, arguing that the law prohibiting Saturday voting directly after a state holiday doesn’t apply to runoff elections.
