Atlanta councilwoman proposes 7PM curfew

In response to the city’s most recent shooting that saw a 12 year old boy killed near Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta, City Councilwoman Keisha Sean Waites is proposing that the city adopt a 7PM curfew for kids 17 and under.  Nearly 60 children under 18 years old have been shot in metro Atlanta in 2022.  Critics though say 7PM is too early, and that it would overstretch an already thin Atlanta Police Department.  The proposal’s odds of gaining traction are DRIFTING…
