Some observers thought Savannah Mayor Van Johnson could be at risk of an upset heading into his re-election vote last week, but instead he and his allies pulled off an election night sweep. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
