Over the past couple years Texas-based gas station chain Buc-ee’s has become a Peach State sensation at its two Georgia locations – one in Calhoun and one in Warner Robins.  Now another chain with a rabid hometown fanbase is coming to Georgia, with its first location expected to open in the Savannah area.  Wawa is a popular gas chain from Pennsylvania known especially for its hoagies and other food items.  It has expanded outside the Northeast in recent years but is just now making its way to Georgia, where it hopes to open four additional stores with more to follow.  Leery of gas station cuisine?  Try out some Buc-ee’s brisket while you wait before Wawa’s famous hoagies arrive in the South.
