Dickens to run for re-election

Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens has confirmed he will run for re-election next year, seeking a second term.  The Democrat has walked a fine line in his (technically) non-partisan mayoral term, serving as a key ally to President Joe Biden as he seeks his own re-election, while also standing steadfast in his support of the Atlanta public safety training center, which has drawn ire from many on the left.  During his term Atlanta’s economy has remained strong and crime stats have trended in the right direction, so Dickens’ odds of re-election are RISING…
