Dems question Scott’s fitness

Questions over the age and mental acuity of top politicians aren’t limited to the White House – in a recent article from Politico Democrats raised concerns over just how capable U.S. Rep. David Scott, D-GA, remains at 78 years old.  Scott plays a critical role as the top Democrat on the House Agriculture Committee, but under his watch the $1.5 trillion farm bill remains stalled out with Dems and Republicans at odds over key components.  One Democratic lawmaker called Scott, “Exhibit A for term limits.”  Scott has already picked up a primary challenger as he seeks re-election later this year, and concerns over his mental fitness leave him DRIFTING…
