Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley was hoping to regain some momentum in her presidential bid over the weekend in South Carolina, but lost by some 20 points, with former President Donald Trump taking 60 percent of the vote to her 40 percent. The loss effectively ends Haley’s bid, but her campaign vowed to stay in the race through Super Tuesday, and depending on results there could hang on until Georgia’s March 12th primary date. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
