Passengers at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport have something new to be concerned about – fake rideshare drivers attempting to lure riders into their cars. The issue has become prevalent enough that APD has launched undercover operations to root out offenders, but that hasn’t stopped them. One rideshare imposter, Mengistu Zarzar, has over 100 crimes – some violent – on his rap sheet. He’s been arrested at the airport several times but keeps coming back – and even managed to obtain a chauffer license from the city. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
