Georgia’s prison issues came to a head when more than 150 people were arrested for their parts in a “sophisticated, multi-state criminal enterprise” that worked to smuggle drugs and weapons inside.  Included in the arrests were eight Georgia Department of Corrections employees, caught as part of a wide-ranging investigation dubbed ‘Operation Skyhawk’ that found that drones were being used to airdrop contraband into prison facilities.  While the bust should help clean up Georgia’s prisons somewhat, they remain DRIFTING…
