After 21 months of indecision, Pete Skandalakis, executive director of the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia, named himself Thursday as the lead investigator into Lt. Gov. Burt Jones’ involvement in the alternate elector case following the 2020 presidential election.  Skandalakis was assigned the case after Fulton Co. DA Fani Willis was forced to recuse herself from prosecuting Jones because she held a fundraiser for his opponent in the lt. governor’s race.  He was tasked with finding a prosecutor to investigate, but waited close to two years to move forward.  The question now – will he charge Jones?  Drop the case?  The investigation remains DRIFTING…
