Over the weekend a major Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, voted to join the United Auto Workers union. The move is a win for pro-union officials, who have historically had difficulty getting a foothold in the South. Gov. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
