Baseball fans had a rude awakening Wednesday when it was announced that Comcast would no longer carry Bally Sports – the channel that carries Braves games. The dispute between Diamond Sports ( who owns Bally) and Comcast is the latest in a frustrating drama that sees Diamond Sports in the midst of bankruptcy proceedings. The regional sports network has been removed from YouTube TV for over a year. Many Braves fans are now unable to watch games or must search for a costly alternative to cable – which leaves them (and Bally) SINKING…
Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
