Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr is at odds with Savannah Mayor Van Johnson over a city ordinance that makes it illegal to leave guns in unlocked cars. According to Carr’s office the new rule conflicts with state law, citing a statute that says local governments can’t regulate firearms in such a manner.
