Seventeen former Georgia Supreme Court justices and others have signed a letter criticizing Supreme Court candidate John Barrow for “injecting partisan politics into our nonpartisan judicial races.” The former Democrat congressman is pledging to “protect abortion” even though an abortion case would come before the Supreme Court. The letter slams Barrow, who is challenging incumbent Andrew Pinson, for following “his political beliefs rather than the Constitution and laws enacted by our elected representatives.” It also declares that “a partisan judiciary that is emboldened to put campaign promises and personal preferences above the Constitution … would mean the end of the rule of law.” Barrow’s campaign could now be SINKING…
Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
