Feds raid Atlanta corporate landlord

It’s not uncommon to hear people say that Atlanta rent hikes in recent years have been criminal – but have they been quite literally crimes? The FBI recently performed an unannounced raid on Atlanta-based Cortland Management, a major corporate landlord. Its investigation centers around Cortland’s use of RealPage, a property management software that many landlords use and which has been sued over allegations that it is being used to collude to raise rents in unison.
