About two months ago U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff questioned U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy during a meeting of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee over service failures in Georgia. He noted that the on-time delivery for first class mail only hit 64%, down from 90% a year ago, a startling drop. At that time DeJoy said that in 60 days he’d have the issues sorted out.
