Georgia’s second most high profile criminal trial, (behind one involving a certain former president) involves gang and racketeering charges against Atlanta rapper Young Thug and his alleged associates. Now the longest trial in state history(!), the case took another turn this week when Fulton County Chief Judge Ural Glanville was removed from the case after it was found he held a secret meeting with prosecutors and a key state witness. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
