Dozens of Democratic Party members of the U.S. House and Senate yesterday boycotted the speech before a joint session of Congress by Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel– this country’s top ally in the Mideast. Of all the members of Georgia’s 14-member bipartisan congressional delegation, only U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson refused to attend. Johnson has a history of anti-Israel, and some say bigoted anti-Semitic, comments and votes over the years. In 2016, for example, he called Jewish settlers in the West Bank “termites.” (And he gave a half-hearted apology back then only after criticism mounted.) Now Johnson is again openly siding with radical Palestinian Islamists by knifing Israel in the back. SINKING….
Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
