A federal judge says he is skeptical of a Democratic challenge to a campaign finance law that allows incumbents to fundraise.  U.S. District Judge Mark Cohen heard arguments from the Democratic Party of Georgia this week over a 2021 law that allows incumbents to create ‘leadership committees’ that can receive unlimited donations and fundraise during the legislative session.  They argue that it favors incumbents and violates free speech laws.  But Cohen said that he doubted Democrats had standing to bring a lawsuit on hypothetical future harm to Dem candidates.  He will make an official ruling next week, but the suits odds of success are SINKING…
