Cobb County Sheriff Craig Owens became so enraged when a Burger King messed up his order that he ordered three deputies who arrived in cars with sirens blaring to meet him. Body camera footage obtained by WSB-TV shows that the Democrat, up for re-election, was out of uniform when he ordered a deputy to enter and get the manager’s name in order to please his female passenger. (The deputies never questioned the sheriff why he just didn’t go in to file his complaint like any other citizen.) Georgia Democrats had a mess on their hands in the 11th Congressional District outside Atlanta after the party nominated Katy Stamper, later finding out she wasn’t a Democrat at all and had far-right political leanings. So they launched a write-in campaign promoting Tracey Verhoeven as the ‘real’ Dem in the race. It didn’t matter in the end as U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk cruised to re-election, but Stamper still got 32% of the vote to just 3% for Verhoeven. A failed write-in campaign and a messy election in CD-11 has Democrats there SINKING…
