Gov. Brian Kemp on Tuesday, flanked by Republican legislative leaders, unveiled a plan that should be quite popular with Georgians on both sides of the aisle. Kemp proposed a plan to refund just over $1 billion to Georgia residents when they file their state income taxes next year, a total which will come out to about $250 per filer. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
