There was some major election drama in a South Georgia town Tuesday – and it didn’t involve the top of the ticket. Elections officials in the city of Camilla abruptly resigned Tuesday morning, closing voting sites over a dispute with Mayor Kelvin Owens regarding a city council race. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
