Georgia Senate Democrats have chosen a new leader ahead of the 2025 legislative session, electing Augusta Sen. Harold Jones II as the party’s new minority leader. Jones succeeds outgoing Sen. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
