North Georgia’s Berry College has named its 9th president in school history, selecting Dr. Sandeep Mazumder, effective next July. Mazumder currently serves at Baylor University in Texas as the William E. Crenshaw Endowed Dean of the nationally ranked Hankamer School of Business. Born in London, England, he has a background in economics, formerly serving as the chair of the Department of Economics at Wake Forest University. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
