The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has elected its new chair for 2025. Atlanta businessman T. Dallas Smith will serve as chair of the prestigious board, which oversees the state’s 26 public colleges and universities. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
