Cobb sheriff accused of censoring critics

It’s been an up and down year for Cobb Co. Sheriff Craig Owens, who won re-election earlier this month but was also caught up in an embarrassing scandal where he called in deputies to a Burger King because the restaurant messed up his order.  Now he’s being sued by several people, including the Republican who challenged him in the sheriff’s race, over deleting and blocking their comments on the county’s public Facebook page, a potential violation of free speech rights.  Another scandal has Owens and his office SINKING…
